    Super cheap weeknight go-to! Shrimp are huge and delicious. Shrimp sauce is awesome! Big portions and the staff are highly efficient! Inside the restaurant is really clean and is by far the best in the area!

    Unbelievable! I was a bit hesitant to try this place but the other reviewers convinced me to give it a try. Well worth it!  Two weeks later and I'm still thinking about the chicken with the yummy sauce, the carrots, just unbelievable.

    I LOVE THIS PLACE! It has not disappointed ever! I use to frequent this restaurant since 2006 until I moved away from the area. Well, I went back and their hibachi chicken is delicious. Portion are great. Their shrimp sauce is still amazing, can never add to little and with drizzles of siracha! Yummy. Oh, their sweet carrots are yum!

    I'm not really a fan of Japanese style food but I went to Atami with my family.  I ordered the Teriaki Chicken.  The chicken lumps were good, but I don't care for broccoli and the chicken was served with abundant broccoli.  Maybe that is normal for Japanese style.  The meal also came with a large lump of rice and cooked carrots.  The rice was tender but not sticky. The carrots were also tender.  

    The process in Atami was to order at the counter and then the food is brought to your table.  Service was rapid because all the menu items were cooked in advance.  For a strip mall restaurant it was a nice quick lunch.

    This restaurant was barefoot friendly.

    Epic Hibachi Chicken etc and their sweet carrots are delicious. I did not know I liked carrots until I ate at the Atami Express.
